About Wendy Fisher
With a strong design background, Wendy Fisher is one of the most experienced and successful wedding and luxury event planners in the Northern New Mexico area. Having grown up in the West, Wendy has a deep understanding and rich connection to the natural beauty of her surroundings.

Prior to starting Southwest Occasions, Wendy was the Director of Catering at the luxurious La Posada Resort and Spa in Santa Fe . Wendy's forte at La Posada was ensuring guests the ultimate Santa Fe experience by planning very stylized and seamless event weekends. With intimate knowledge of the many extraordinary and unique venues in and around Santa Fe, Wendy has planned several special weddings, rehearsal dinners and outings that clients will always treasure and remember.

Wendy was recruited by the award winning Ritz-Carlton Hotels to develop an elite wedding destination. While at the Ritz-Carlton, Wendy orchestrated over 200 lavish affairs ranging from 2 to 500 guests with bridal clients included Grammy Award Winner Susan Tedeschi and a Kennedy family member.

Wendy is a graduate of the Parsons School of Design and has attended the Culinary Institute of America. Bringing her vast experience, stylistic sensibilities and attention to the finest details, Wendy Fisher can articulate your vision and unique style into an event you'll cherish for a lifetime.
