 Bellissima
is a specialized group of Professional Musicians who perform in Santa Fe,
Albuquerque and other parts of Northern New Mexico and the United States.
Many of the Musicians work for such distinguished New Mexico groups as the
Santa Fe Opera Orchestra, the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Santa Fe Symphony,
Santa Fe Pro Musica, Serenata of Santa Fe and 20th Century Unlimited.
Bellissima’s unique style is possible because of their wide
range of musical experiences. They perform, not only the Classical
Orchestral and Chamber music repertoire, but have spent years diversifying their musical
education playing with a variety of Pop and
Rock artists, such as: Carly
Simon, Tony Bennett, Page & Plant, KISS, the Kingston Trio and Doc Severenson.
The group is also comfortable performing musical
theater including such Broadway
shows as “Phantom of the Opera,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Les
Miserables,” and “Cats.”
Founded by Santa Fe Violinist, Kerri Lay,
Bellissima’s goal is to
bring together the friendliest and most outstanding musical Professionals
to perform enthusiastically in Ensembles of ALL sizes and for all budgets!
Our most requested ensemble is String Quartet (2
Violins, Viola and Cello). We also provide Solo
players (i.e. Harp, Guitar, Solo Violin), Duos and Trios to
fit any size budget. Other special Musicians include Spanish
Guitar Duo,
Mariachi, Tradtional
Irish, Jazz Guitar, Jazz
Piano,
other Jazz groups and a variety of singers including Classical, Spanish and
Traditional New Mexican. We also offer Marimba Duos, Bagpipers, Celtic Harpists
and more!
